Consul General of Mexico Visits ELS/Boston – Newton

His Excellency Daniel Hernandez Joseph, Consul General of Mexico, recently visited the ELS/Boston – Newton Center.

 

Last week, His Excellency Daniel Hernandez Joseph, Consul General of Mexico, visited the ELS/Boston – Newton Center to meet with students, tour the campus of Mount Ida College and meet Mount Ida College personnel. There is currently a group of ELS students from Mexico studying in Boston – Newton who were delighted to welcome this esteemed guest.

The students are part of Proyecta100mil, a Mexican Government initiative that is striving to foster even greater academic and cultural exchange between Mexico and the United States. The goal of Proyecta100mil is to send 100,000 Mexican students to study in the United States and receive 50,000 U.S. students in Mexico by 2018.

ELS is proud to have been the only language school selected by the Mexican Government to work with Proyecta100mil students. More than 900 Proyecta100mil students have enrolled with ELS in nearly 40 Centers across the United States, including Boston – Newton.
