California Summer Pathway to University Program

We are proud to announce an exciting summer program option for your university-bound students in California with our California Summer Pathway to University Program at Cañada College.

ELS has partnered with the San Mateo Community College District (SMCCD) to create this one-of-a-kind summer program to help students get an early jump on preparing for university and on understanding the unique 2 + 2 pathway into California’s world famous state universities. It is an ideal option for students, aged 16+ with an intermediate or higher level of English who are already planning or are considering attending university in California. This program will provide the additional assistance to acclimate, strengthen English skills needed for the university setting via the ELS English for Academic Purposes program in a smaller classroom setting combined with university fairs, visits to California universities, transfer seminars and much more! Students already planning on attending one of the San Mateo Community Colleges have the opportunity to satisfy the English requirement while attending this program.

4-weeks $2,640*
8-weeks $4,700*
