Location

Green River College (GRC) is a public college located about 40 minutes south of Seattle in Auburn, Washington, a residential town of 70,000 people. International students choose GRC for its quality education, small class size, personal attention and beautiful campus equipped with modern buildings and state-of-the-art facilities. GRC has a total student population of 10,000 with 1,700 international students from over 67 countries. They offer Washington State High School Diplomas (dual degree/fast track); associate degrees; university transfer and pathways programs; bachelor's degrees; and professional, technical and certificate programs, including aviation and others. GRC is known for providing outstanding support services to international students and helping students transfer to top universities throughout the world. We have staff dedicated to organizing student activities and clubs, advisors who provide degree and transfer planning, our own housing team on campus that works exclusively with international students. Housing


Homestays are offered. On-campus residence is offered. Students have fully furnished private bedroom and shared bath. GRC has five full-time housing staff located in the International Programs office dedicated to international students. We do not use a housing placing company. Students are matched with roommates and families based on their habits and interests. All GRC families are personally selected and are thoroughly vetted and trained.

GRC offers Washington State High School Diplomas (dual degree/fast track); Intensive English Programs; Associates and Bachelors degrees; university transfer and direct transfer pathways to more than 50 of our university partners; study abroad for Japanese university students; and professional programs, including aviation, environmental science, and broadcasting. GRC is known for providing outstanding support services to international students and helping them transfer to top universities throughout the world. The International Programs team includes: activity and recreation directors; club advisors; academic advisors who provide personalized degree and transfer planning; peer mentors; and a team specifically for High School Completion students. GRC personally places our students into GRC homestay accommodations or on-campus residences. Our IP housing team is located on the GRC campus and works exclusively for our international students.
