Location

Established in 1888, Tiffin University is located in Tiffin, Ohio with a population of 17,900. Our main campus is 135 acres located at Tiffin, Ohio. We also offer Extended Learning Bachelor Degree Programs at several regional campus thourght Ohio. The total enrollment in Fall 2016 was 3,350 with 2,353 undergraduate students and 997 graduate students. Tiffin University is an independent, private institution of higher education, chartered by the State of Ohio to award degrees at the Associate’s, Bachelor’s and Master’s level. We offer 50+ undergraduate majors and concentrations and 25+ graduate programs with top programs of Criminal Justice, Management, Psychology, Homeland Security, and Accounting. Our seated and online programs are authorized by the Ohio Department of Higher Education and accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). Our School of Business is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). We also have accreditation from the European Council for Business Education (ECBE) for its BBA and MBA degree programs. Tiffin is located in Seneca county. Attractions in Seneca county are the historic architecture, parks, scenic Sandusky river, etc. We also have events and entertainments all year round: County Fair, fairground events, festivals, glass show, garden & home tours, Flea Market, relays, etc. Ohio is the home of The Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame, art museums, zoos, Seneca Caverns, state parks, Amish country, major cities and beautiful countryside.

Undergraduate students who are under 24 years old have to live on campus. Graduate students are not required to live on campus.

Student life

The Office of Student Engagement encompasses more than 50+ Academic, Special Interest, Multicultural and Greek Letter organizations. Our special programs include Freshman Year Experience, Perforing arts, English Language Program, Study Abroad, Washington Ceter Internship, and Air Force ROTC program.
