December 13, 2016

In 2012, Russian student Ruslan Korchagin came to the United States to study at California Lutheran University and ELS/Thousand Oaks.

When Ruslan arrived at ELS, he began his classes at Level 104 and was able to graduate within eight months.

After completing his English-learning at ELS, Ruslan attended classes at California Lutheran University (CLU) to obtain a graduate degree in Business Administration. During his study, Ruslan was able to obtain a highly competitive position as a graduate research assistant. Ruslan graduated from the program in 2015 with honors.

Ruslan has accepted a position at California Lutheran University and is studying for an additional graduate degree in Information Systems and Technology. He continues his relationship with the ELS/Thousand Oaks Center by giving tours for new students during their orientations at ELS.

Ruslan believes that the skills he has learned at ELS have allowed him to become very successful while studying in the United States.
