“Upcoming Computing Technology Trends” will take place on 12 October 2017 at 9:30 am EDT and is hosted by ELS and presented by Bowling Green State University.

During the webinar, presenters will discuss the history of the computer, as well as upcoming computing technology trends including Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security and Augmented and Virtual Reality.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, computer science is one of the fastest growing professions and is expected to grow 12% from 2014 to 2024 – faster than the average for all occupations.

The webinar will also focus on the value of a computer science education and the computer science degrees and scholarships available at Bowling Green State University (BGSU).
