Housing

Undergraduate Students - Start in Leura and finish in Sydney (Higher Education On campus housing is compulsory for year 1 and 2.) The residential Leura campus is situated in the heritage listed Blue Mountains National Park, about an hour's drive west of Sydney. The campus has capacity for around 250 students and having a campus located in one of Australia's top natural tourist attractions means students are not only immersed in the world of hospitality, but have numerous outdoor lifestyle options on their doorstep. Accommodation is twin-share in hotel style rooms with private bathroom, serviced weekly. Rooms typically include desks, shelf space, wardrobe, telephone, 24/7 wireless Internet, and small fridge. Students can dine at a choice of 3 restaurants all operated by students, either in the kitchen or front of house. Recreation facilities on campus include a fully equipped gym, basketball court, swimming pool and barbecue area. Indoors, there's a big-screen TV room and DVD player, pool tables, as well as vending machines. Year 3 Undergraduate Students and Postgraduate Students Students finishing their Bachelor degree and postgraduate students study at the Sydney. The non-residential campus, located right in the heart of the city's CBD, functions as an executive business centre where students study in state of the art lecture rooms and teaching facilities, with wireless Internet and a modern well-equipped library on site. A thriving vibrant local economy means that students have numerous part-time work opportunities close-by, as well as access to major hotels, tourism ventures and events companies. As the campus is non-residential, there are a range of housing options available to students and Blue Mountains can assist in securing accommodation close to campus with other Blue Mountains students. On both campuses students enjoy making new friends with other students who come from over 36 countries around the world. There are plenty of social activities with the Student Representative Council (SRC) running a range of events from sports teams, cultural nights, charity fundraisers, and trips to local attractions.
