BVU offers approximately 40 undergraduate majors and programs in business, education, science, social science, arts and communications. Storm Lake is an accessible town whether one has a car or not. The downtown shopping area is within walking distance of campus. The town boasts a movie theatre, multiple grocery stores, an abundance of ethnic restaurants and other important amenities. Housing


BVU is a residential campus. All students are required to live on campus and participate in the campus meal plan. The majority of international students are housed with native English speaking students who have requested an international student roommate. BVU offers a variety housing options, Men's Residences, Women's Residences and Co-ed Residences. Student life

Located in the northwest Iowa community of Storm Lake - an attractive, professional community of approximately 11,000 people - BVU provides a safe, welcoming environment that enjoys all four seasons. Scenic parks line the lake, providing a picturesque setting for study and a variety of outdoor activities. At BVU, you'll find a friendly community where there are as many things to do as students can dream up - concerts, comedy nights, lecture series, cultural events, dances, art exhibits, picnics and fairs, tournaments of all kinds (frisbee golf, bingo, pool and mud volleyball) outdoor adventure excursions and trips into Omaha, Nebraska; Des Moines, Iowa and other locations in the area.
International Club
This student organization is one of the most active on campus. The International Club promotes international friendship and awareness about world cultures throughout the university and the community.
