Location

D'Youville College is an independent, four-year co-educational college chartered by New York State in 1908. The college provides academic programs to approximately 3,200graduate and undergraduate students in day, evening, weekend and summer sessions. It was established by the Grey Nuns as the first college for women in Western New York and named for their founder, Saint Marguerite D'Youville. A lay board of trustees now governs the college. Located in historic Buffalo, New York only a few blocks from the US/Canadian border, D'Youville College is just a short drive from Niagara Falls and within easy reach of Toronto, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, and Syracuse. The Buffalo-Niagara International Airport is about 20 minutes from campus.

Housing


. D'Youville offers students 2 on-campus living options: Marquerite Hall is a coeducational, 12 story building with breathtaking views of the Buffalo waterfront, downtown and Canada. The Residence Apartment Complex is open to juniors or students 21 and older, including graduate and doctoral students. These are four-bedroom, fully furnished apartments featuring two full baths. Full-size refrigerator/freezer, microwave and stove; cable TV hook-up, Internet access, local phone service, and individually-controlled heat/air conditioning. Individual electronic access cards restrict access to the building and apartments.

Student life

There are over 26 campus/student organizations - social, cultural along with professional and community service oriented clubs. Students have the opportunities to participate in a variety of social activities, trips and concerts throughout the year, as well as annual events. D'Youville offers NCAA Division III athletics with a wide range of intramural recreational athletic programs..
