Location

Gannon University (GU) is a private, coeducational liberal arts university founded in 1925. While a Catholic diocesan school, approximately 40% of its students are not Catholic. The small, 1.6-kilometer campus provides a student-to-teacher ratio of 13:1. The average class size is 25. The University is located in the city of Erie (population 250,000) approximately 145 kilometers west of Buffalo, New York. The city is situated alongside scenic Lake Erie, one of the five Great Lakes. GU's downtown Erie location provides many educational and entertainment opportunities.
