Jackson College is located in Jackson, Michigan and offers the first two years of university-level study at an affordable price. In a mid-sized city with a small-town feel, JC educates a diverse population of nearly 10,000 students each year, and we pride ourselves on quality instruction, personal involvement, real-world learning and access to world-class research. Students participate in sports, clubs, student government, performing arts, and other activities in order to connect with one another and enrich their academic experience. JC offers excellent on-campus housing with full kitchens and private bedrooms. For quality academics and a welcoming environment, JC is "where you want to be!"

Exceptional, modern on-campus residence halls built in recent years. Dormitories include fully furnished four-bedroom apartments with a large kitchen equipped with appliances and shared living area. Each bedroom is a private bedroom with furniture, doors to bedrooms lock automatically and require swipe card access. There are two full bathrooms per apartment. Cable TV, wireless Internet access, laundry facilities, and common TV areas on-site. Storage, easy access to exercise facilities, 24-hour front desk security.

Student life

JC enjoys an active student life, thanks in part to quality on-campus housing and a supportive Student Services team. The main campus is located in rural part of Jackson, south of downtown. Buses run from a transfer center in downtown Jackson to the main campus Monday through Friday, so students need to use alternate methods of transportation on the weekends. A variety of international companies make their home in Jackson, and students have access to the cultural offerings in larger cities such as Ann Arbor, Detroit, and Lansing about one hour's drive from Jackson.
