Location

Founded in San Francisco in 1863 by the Christian Brothers; Saint Mary's College is one of the oldest university-level educational institutions in the western United States. The college, now located on a beautiful 168-hectare campus in suburban Moraga, is 30 minutes by car from Downtown San Francisco and is 15 minutes from Berkeley. The campus has the dual benefits of a suburban campus setting and proximity to a major metropolitan center. The community, one of the safest in the US, provides easy access to the rich cultural offerings of the San Francisco Bay area. We offer over 40 different majors for students to choose from our School of Liberal Arts, Sciences, and Economics & Business Administration. We are currently one of 40 Colleges that Change Lives and are ranked 9th in the Western Region on US News and World Report. We are a WASC accredited institution and our School of Economics and Business Administration is AACSB accredited. Average Low temperature (winter): 50°F/10°C Average High temperature (summer): 65°F/18°C
