Location

Seattle Central is located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, in the heart of Seattle, and enrolls 1500 international students, and 10,000 students overall. It is the only community college in downtown Seattle, and has been in operation since 1965. Seattle Central offers programs in College Transfer (2 years at Seattle Central, followed by (2 years at a 4-year college or university), Short Term Certificates, High School Completion , Applied Bachelor Degrees, and Professional and Technical Degrees and Certificates. Students hoping to study a Bachelor's Degree in the US can begin their studies at Seattle Central and enjoy small class sizes, welcoming and knowledgeable instructors, and affordable tuition. Seattle Central is ranked #4 in the nation for international enrollment among community colleges, and #1 in Washington State. Time magazine named Seattle Central "College of the Year" in a one time study. The college is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. Seattle is lively city. With a young and active population, Seattlites enjoy dining out, theater, professional sports, and music as part of the city culture. Located on the Puget Sound and surrounded by water and mountains, hiking, swimming, boating, paddle boarding, whale watching, and trips to the islands are typical outdoor activities. Student life

Seattle Central has an active campus life. Students can join a wide range of clubs and organizations through the Student Leadership division, including groups related to student government, sports, academic interests and more. The Student Activities Center offers modern sports facilities including racquetball courts and a weight room.
