Morrisville State College is part of the State University of New York (SUNY), the largest U.S. public university system. It is a residential college of agriculture and technology offering two- and four-year degrees in more than 80 academic programs and options.
The college was the first in the SUNY system to participate in the ThinkPad University program and one of the first in the nation with a wireless program. Morrisville also was chosen as one of the top five colleges in the nation for campus activities by Campus Activities magazine.
Morrisville State College offers twelve on-campus dormitories. First-year students are required to live on-campus (exceptions can be made if students are over 21 years of age or are commuters). A residential meal plan is also required. The college does not currently offer married / family-housing options.
- The Student Activities Office offers a variety of academic, cultural, recreational and social programs, events and opportunities.
- Intramural sports are offered and students have access to recreational and fitness facilities.
- Campus facilities and resources include a library, fitness center, health services, career development counseling and dining services.
