University of Wisconsin (UW) Superior is a distinct campus within the University of Wisconsin System, one of the largest and strongest public university systems in the US. Founded in 1893, UW-Superior is located in the city of Superior, Wisconsin and has an overall enrollment of 2,600 students. UW-Superior is nationally recognized for its quality teaching, vibrant community, engaged students and successful outcomes. UW-Superior offers more than 50 Undergraduate (Bachelor degree) programs and concentrations, including business programs (Business Administration, Accounting, Management, International Business, Finance), Transportation and Logistics Management, Communications, Visual Arts, Biology, Chemistry and Computer Science. With an average class size of 18, students get a level of personal interaction with faculty often unavailable at larger universities. University of Wisconsin (UW) Superior's many student organizations develop and sponsor social, educational, recreational and cultural programs for the campus community and aid in the development of student leaders. The World Student Association is the largest and most active student group. There is a strong tradition of International students excelling in terms of academics, scholarships, award competitions, leadership positions, involvement in clubs, athletics and success on the job market.
