Augustana is a selective, private, undergraduate university college with 1750 students. Founded in 1860, Augustana boasts more than 155 years of providing a premier educational experience at an affordable price. Offering four-year bachelor degrees in more than 50 majors, Augustana is ranked as one of the "BEST" in the Midwest United States by "U.S. News and World Report" and the "Princeton Review." International students benefit from Augustana's small class sizes (the average is 18 students), a low student to professor ratio (11:1), and lots of personalized advising and attention. Augustana thrives in Sioux Falls, a city known as one of the fastest-growing metropolitan areas in the heartland of America. Our residents are known for their hospitality and rejoice in the beauty of four distinct seasons. Sioux Falls is the business, health care, shopping, entertainment, and cultural center of the region.
