Location

Lewis University offers a challenging, high-quality and personalized education at our beautiful campus about 30 minutes southwest of Chicago. We are a mid-sized university with 6,600 students (20 per class). Lewis is one of many schools sponsored by the De LaSalle Christian Brothers, an international Roman Catholic teaching order, with more than 320 years of experience. Lewis University has 80 undergraduate (Bachelor's) and 25 graduate (Master's) programs that can be customized based on the specific interests and career desires. Leading programs include Business, Aviation, Computer Science, Information Security Systems, Computer Engineering and Finance. Lewis University is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission and a member of North Central Association (NCA). We are FAA approved. Student life

There are 6,600 total students: 4,000 undergraduate and 2,600 graduate students. Lewis University is the seventh largest private college in Illinois. Many students are from the Chicago region, with international students representing nearly thirty different countries. We are located about 30 minutes from Chicago, where there is a lot of entertainment and cultural activities for all students. Lewis welcomes students of all cultures and religious faiths with a 32 percent minority population and a ratio of 60 percent Roman Catholic to 40 percent other Christian / non-Christian faiths. The university provides several on and off campus activities, and it is located near restaurants, shops, movie theaters and parks.
