Work Experience Programs with Indiana University

IPFW offers two types of co-ops (alternating Co-ops and parallel Co-ops) as well as internships. In the alternating Co-op students alternate semesters of full-time study with full-time employment, with the option of working two consecutive sessions if a summer is involved.

A parallel Co-op provides students working part-time (10-24 hours per week) while attending IPFW. A minimum of two semesters are required and the student may continue working with the employer until graduation. An employer may also request full-time work during the summer break.

In addition to Co-op, IPFW also offers one-semester paid internships, most commonly full-time in the summer or part-time in the fall/spring. This option is available to selected majors only.

IPFW Career Services supports both students and alumni, providing opportunities to connect with employers through high-quality programs and events, assisting with professional development, and educating and preparing you for a lifetime of career success.
