ELS Student Story: Husam at ELS/Bowling Green

Husam Alminawy, a student at ELS/Bowling Green on the campus of Bowling Green State University (BGSU), began his studies at the ELS Center in August 2015.

Husam, originally from Syria, has graduated from the ELS/Bowling Green program and began studying to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture at BGSU during the fall 2016 semester.

In the future, Husam would like to obtain a Master’s degree in Architecture at BGSU and start his own business in either the United States or the United Arab Emirates.

Located in Bowling Green, Ohio, BGSU is a welcoming and safe residential campus, home to over 19,000 undergraduate and graduate students and containing over 115 buildings.

Bowling Green, a city of over 30,000 people, is a small community full of restaurants, entertainment, and parks perfect for swimming and hiking.
