In “Discover: ELS/Tampa” students and staff discuss the friendly and supportive environment while studying at the Center on the University of Tampa campus.
“It’s hard work,” ELS/Tampa Academic Director said in regard to learning the curriculum, “but it doesn’t feel hard because you have so many people supporting you. All of the teachers are very experienced, very supportive, and they really care about our students’ individual goals.”
While learning English at the Center, students can take a break and enjoy Tampa’s combination of relaxation and excitement. The city is known for beautiful, warm weather all year long, and Gulf Coast beaches – perfect for relaxation. Shopping, dining, nightlife, and theme parks are all within easy reach.
“We feel like it should be a fun experience for you. Even if it is sometimes challenging, it is always fun,” ELS/Tampa’s AD said.
The University of Tampa offers more than 200 programs of academic study to its 8,000 students from 50 states and approximately 140 countries. The campus is within walking distance of hotels, museums, a performing arts center, and the Riverwalk – the city’s restored downtown waterfront area – which is full of restaurants, events, and activities.
