April 13, 2018

In “Discover: ELS/San Francisco – North Bay” students and staff discuss life at the Center on the beautiful and comfortable Dominican University of California campus in San Rafael, California.

Situated in the northern region of the sunny San Francisco Bay area, students have access to all of San Francisco by public bus and ferry. With many chances to experience American culture, San Rafael is perfect for anyone with a love of the great outdoors – students can enjoy hiking through redwood forests, or visiting museums, theme parks, and more.

“Every student will have different goals, of course. We make sure that we understand what their goals are and try to individualize the teaching styles for them. Our students get a lot of personal support from their teachers,” said the Center’s Academic Director.

Dominican University of California’s 32-hectacre, park-like setting contains towering redwood trees, state-of-the-art facilities, and historic, ivy-clad buildings. The university also has an athletic complex which includes a swimming pool, basketball and volleyball courts, soccer fields, and more.
