Bunker Hill Community College (BHCC) welcomes more than 950 international students from approximately 100 countries, making BHCC one of the most cosmopolitan institutions of higher education in New England. BHCC offers excellent programs, outstanding faculty, individualized attention and is located in the great city of Boston. Founded in 1973, BHCC is the largest community college in Massachusetts and ranks among the 25 fastest growing public two-year colleges in the United States. Bunker Hill Community College currently offers more than 100 certificate and degree programs. Agreements between BHCC and many four-year colleges and universities allow BHCC graduates to transfer, often with junior-year status, to other institutions throughout the United States. Our transfer counselors help the students with the transfer process. Since its founding, BHCC has made international education a priority. The College incorporates multicultural and international perspectives in its courses, programs and institutional climate; and it is internationally recognized for the development of individualized and alternative methods of instruction. The College is a leader in the application of distance-learning technologies and computer-based methodologies that enhance and strengthen the learning environment. BHCC's Charlestown Campus is only a ten-minute drive from downtown Boston and its many cultural, historical, entertainment and athletic centers.
