Location

Madonna University is a Catholic and Franciscan Institution. The campus is attractively located on a 20-hectare wooded land in Livonia, Michigan, a suburb on the western perimeter of metropolitian Detroit. The campus has easy access to downtown Detroit, the Detroit Metropolitan Airport, Ann Arbor, important state highways and Windsor, Canada. Livonia is ranked one of the safest cities in the United States. Madonna University enrolls approximately 4,500 students, of which 150 students are international students from more than 30 countries. Various academic support services, including Advising Center, Writing Center, ESL program, are available to students. On campus employment is also possible.

International undergraduate students with no residence in the US are required to live on campus during the first semester of study. International undergraduate students are usually assigned to a double room. International graduate students are not required to live on campus,but encouraged during the first semester of the study. Graduate students are usually assigned to a single room.

Student life

Madonna University provides high-speed Internet service on campus. A new science and media center with modern updated science laboratories, classrooms and state-of-the-art television and radio production facilities were open since fall, 2009.

Extensive support services, such as International Students Office, Disabled Students Services, tutoring and counseling services, Campus Ministry along with a library holding both 10,000 books and extensive non-print, periodical, and electronic resources (electronic database collection, e-book and e-journal collections) are also available to students.
