Location

Monmouth University is a dynamic, first-tier, private university that empowers students to reach their full potential as leaders able to make significant contributions to their community and society. Through small classes, individual attention, and innovative faculty members, students are afforded a challenging learning environment on a campus that offers both the latest technology and classic beauty. Monmouth University has a diverse student body of approximately 4,700 undergraduates and 1,800 graduate students. The university's student-to-faculty ratio is about 15 to 1. And because of the University's relatively small student population, class sizes are capped between 20 and 35 and no classes are taught by teaching assistants. Monmouth University's 156-acre campus is located in a convenient, safe, suburban area one mile from the Atlantic Ocean. The campus is an hour from both New York City and Philadelphia. Both can be easily accessed by train or commuter bus service.

宿泊施設

Monmouth offers traditional residence halls and garden-style apartments for students interested in this option. Some beachfront campus housing, sponsored by the University, is also offered to students who meet certain requirements. Housing is guaranteed for first-year students who pay their deposit by May 1. In the traditional residence halls, two students typically share a room and each floor shares bathroom and shower facilities. In the suites there are typically four bedrooms off a common living room. Each suite has its own restroom and shower. Apartments on campus have a full kitchen and most have a washer and dryer. All campus housing units are wired for cable TV and computer access. Each hall is staffed by professional hall directors or resident assistants who are trained to assist students and provide information about campus activities and programs.
