Named for its clear water, Eau Claire has a population of 65,000 people and is consistently ranked as one of the safest cities in the United States. Scenic rivers, lakes, parks and bike trails offer countless outdoor activities. Fantastic restaurants, vibrant cultural festivals and live music abound. Local shopping centers and medical facilities also attract locals and visitors alike. Visit the vibrant downtown area, take in an art exhibit or theater production at the state-of-the-art Pablo Center, catch a baseball game, listen to outdoor concerts at Phoenix or Owen Park, or just take a leisurely bike ride along the Chippewa River Trail.

宿泊施設

The residence halls overlook the Chippewa River and are surrounded buy scenic views and nature trails. The eleven residence halls on campus provide living space for nearly 4,000 students. The individual rooms are designed to be as conducive to studying and as comfortable for living as possible.
Housing is available off campus, but the university does not assist students in finding off campus accommodations. Students would work directly with local landlords.
The Host Friend program matches international students and American individuals or families in the community to connect in a meaningful relationship during the international student's time of study at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
