Student life

Student life at UOW is defined by a culture of working together and maintaining a healthy balance between study and relaxation. UOW Wollongong campus offers you a rich student experience. Undergraduate, postgraduate and research students all come together to create an exciting and diverse and tight-knit student community. Student-run clubs and societies give students with common interests a fun and productive way to connect. We also host student societies engaged in community and humanitarian work, including tutoring programs for disadvantaged children. We've designed our campuses to be relaxing, convenient and productive. At UOW Wollongong campus you'll find restaurants, cafes, retail shops, two banks and a medical centre. The UOW Sydney Business School campus in Sydney is in the middle of the city CBD, with easy access to shopping, health care, food and transport. Keeping fit and healthy is made easy at UOW Recreation and Aquatic Centre, which features a full gymnasium, Olympic swimming pool and six sporting fields. You can also join sports teams, ranging from casual lunchtime sport to national competitive teams. UOW also maintains a full calendar of social and cultural events, including hundreds shows from local and international bands every year.
