NIU Programs

The Northern Illinois University Anthropology Museum is right on campus at NIU. The museum specializes in the cultures of Southeast Asia, New Guinea, and the Southwest and Plains Native Americans.

The Midwest Museum of Natural History is located in nearby Sycamore, the museum features over 100 mounted animals from North America and Africa, including one of the few elephants in the country.
