Join ELS in Supporting The World’s Largest Lesson!

September 11, 2015

Join ELS and take part in The World’s Largest Lesson to share The Global Goals.

WLL-FacebookOn September 25th 2015, 193 world leaders will commit to the Global Goals for Sustainable Development. 17 goals to achieve 3 extraordinary things in the next 15 years. End extreme poverty. Fight inequality and injustice. Fix climate change. If every school in the world teaches children about these goals, we will help them become the generation that changed the world.

The World’s Largest Lesson is a collaborative education project, designed to put children at the heart of this development year and teach a lesson about the new Sustainable Development Goals to 7 billion people with an emphasis on children across the world. Not only will this engage a generation in supporting this new global ambition but it will introduce Global Citizenship learning to many children who will live it.

The United Nations has identified 10 languages that would enable the new goals to be communicated to seven billion people in just one week starting September 25th. We are proud to note that Berlitz and ELS are supporting this effort by translating the lessons into five languages.  We will be integrating the Sustainable Development Goals into ELS and Berlitz lessons during the week of September 25th.

ELS will be sharing The Global Goals across our social media profiles during the week of September 27th. We encourage you to do the same!
