New! Internship and Co-op Experience with Eastern Kentucky University

Eastern Kentucky University’s Co-op Program is the first program accredited in the state of Kentucky by the Accreditation Council for Cooperative Education and Internships. They offer both Co-op and Internship opportunities.

Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) is a regional, co-educational, residential, public institution established in 1906 that currently serves over 16,000 students enrolled in more than 148 degree programs.

Eastern Kentucky University has been designated as a 2015 STEM Jobs Approved College. EKU is the only public institution in Kentucky to make the list and has achieved Gold Status, the highest possible rank. This designation shows how effectively EKU aligns their programs to high-demand, high-paying STEM jobs, how well they assist their students in achieving career aspirations in STEM fields, and their success in attracting and supporting diverse students and faculties in STEM fields.

The EKU mission is to ensure student success through supervised career-related experiences that enhance professional development and enable application of classroom learning.
