On April 25, 2016, ELS/New York – Hofstra opened on the campus of Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York! Special ELS tuition and housing scholarships are now available!

ELS/New York – Hofstra

The ELS Center, with all classrooms, offices and the Language Technology Center, is located on the campus of Hofstra University. ELS students have full access to Hofstra’s computer center, fitness center, recreational facilities, library and more.

Hofstra University accepts completion of Level 112 of the ELS intensive English for Academic Purposes program as fulfillment of the English proficiency requirement for select programs. Conditional Letters of Admission based upon completion of ELS Level 112 are issued for selected university graduate degree programs.

On-campus housing is available for ELS students. Students may also choose to live in homestays with American families.
