ELS/Boston’s Four Seasons Expanded Activities Calendar

September 11, 2018

Students at ELS/Boston have the opportunity to experience Boston through an expanded four-seasons activities calendar. Whether you are looking to study full-time in preparation for university or career, or you are looking to study while you travel, ELS/Boston’s activities calendar will give you the opportunity to see the city in new and unique ways.

The city of Boston is exciting because it is full of history while still being incredibly modern. The city is alive during all parts of the year, whether it be spring, summer, fall, or winter.

This coming fall and winter, our students have much to look forward to. In September, our students will be visiting Castle Island, creating memories at paint night, and doing yoga in Boston’s South End as a part of Health Week. In October, our students can look forward to seeing Boston on a hop-on hop-off tour, taking part in a community potluck lunch, and celebrating Halloween with pumpkin carving and a costume contest.

November boasts the chance to celebrate Thanksgiving where America held its very first celebration. December students will check out holiday lights in Boston’s oldest neighborhoods and create their own Boston Cream Pies at the famous Omni Parker House. While in January students will celebrate New Year’s together and see the city from above at the Skywalk Observatory.

Each week the expanded activities calendar highlights one out-of-center activity and one in-center activity so that you can explore Boston while building community. The calendar is full of suggestions on what to do with your free time.

Winter is also an exciting time to study at ELS/Boston. With ice skating on the Frog Pond, touring the State House, making Boston cream pies, and attending sporting events, there is so much to do.

If adventure is calling your name, ELS/Boston is the place for you.
