Discover: ELS/Grand Rapids

In “Discover: ELS/Grand Rapids” students and staff talk about the friendly and safe ELS/Grand Rapids Center and Grand Valley State University.

Located just ten minutes away from Grand Rapids, Michigan, ELS/Grand Rapids students are able to experience a big city, while living in a small town.

At the Center, students learn from teachers who “are going to help them succeed both inside the classroom and outside of the classroom.” Students can visit labs, the language technology center and take part in the conversation partner program.

Grand Valley State University is a four-year public university that enrolls over 25,000 students, including 430 international students from more than 80 countries. The university is located within 20 minutes of Lake Michigan’s beaches and is only two hours from Chicago and Detroit.
