Location

Stockton is New Jersey's only public university located in a national reserve surrounded by 810 hectares of pine forests, lakes and fields where students can take a walk, run or bike through protected pine forests and spot native wildlife. Students can borrow a canoe and explore Lake Fred or hang out on the shore of the Oasis. Stockton's stunning campus in Galloway, New Jersey, is safe and convenient. Just minutes from Atlantic City and the Jersey Shore beaches, an hour from Philadelphia, two hours from New York City and three hours from Washington, D.C., the campus is within easy reach from all major highways. Stockton also offers classes in Atlantic City and three other locations throughout southern New Jersey. The university plans to develop a larger facility in Atlantic City, with classrooms, meeting spaces, student residences, parking, dining and recreational facilities in a world-class oceanfront setting. Undergraduate Housing: Apartment housing 4: built in 1999, apartments house approximately 242 students in 4 person apartments where 2 students share a bedroom with lofted beds. Students have access to a full size refrigerator, electric oven, free WiFi, free laundry facility, shuttle busses to campus and many various activities set up and organized by the Office of Residential Life. Student life

Our more than 130 student organizations focus on everything from service to culture to special interest groups of any taste. Stockton's club and intramural teams range from deep sea fishing, fencing and scuba diving to flag football, indoor soccer, dodge ball and street or ice hockey. The I-Wing gym has a fitness center equipped with weights, as well as basketball and racquetball courts and holds regular exercise classes. Stockton students have an opportunity to engage not only in sports and academics, but to become members of various student clubs and organizations, volunteer in the community and with the college developing leadership and communication skills. Students can contribute to the college newspaper "The Argo", participate in college retreats, and so much more! Our campus features specialized facilities including but not limited to: Coastal Research Center, Dante Hall Theater, Lloyd D.
