Williams is a four-year, Christian, liberal arts college in Northeast Arkansas. Williams is known for its academic excellence and small class sizes, with a student-to-teacher ratio of 13-to-1, as well as its friendly, Christ-centered environment. While at Williams, students can participate in, or cheer on a number of team sports, such as soccer, basketball, volleyball, baseball and softball. All students can play intramural sports like flag football, tennis, table tennis, disc golf and many more. The college also has an indoor track and exercise and weightlifting rooms. Staying active and healthy is always an option on the Williams campus. Williams has many academic and social clubs for students to join, as well. Most notably, a global cultures club has been added so that students can meet, share, and learn about cultures in the USA and around the world. Throughout the school year, special activities happen on the Williams campus. Harvest Fest, which takes place in the fall, is a time for students and people from the surrounding towns to dress in costumes, play games, win prizes, and donate to charity. At Christmas time, Williams employees who live on campus decorate for the holiday and invite the students into their homes for food, fun, and to enjoy the spirit of Christmas. Spring Fling is a week long event that takes place every spring. Campus-wide cookouts and recreational events are planned for the week to give students the chance to enjoy the return of warm weather.
Housing for married couples is available.
A college experience at Williams extends far beyond the classroom. Lasting memories and lifelong friendships are formed through a wide range of campus activities, special events, service projects, and intramural athletics, along with so much more! With about 70 percent of WBC students living on campus, dorm life is active and there is always something to do.
