William & Mary is the second oldest college in the nation, but also a cutting-edge research university. The College is a "Public Ivy"-one of only eight in the nation. That means W&M offers a superior education that is accessible to everyone. Located in Virginia, in the East Coast of the U.S., William & Mary is nestled in Colonial Williamsburg and also enjoys close proximity to major cities such as Richmond, Norfolk and Washington D.C. We take great care in selecting students who are right for the Mason MBA Program - students who are curious, creative, tenacious, self-directed and who have a demonstrated work ethic. Our students, along with our excellent faculty and Executive Partners, make up a wonderfully rich, diverse community that is an important part of the educational experience. Our professors are teachers, scholars and research mentors, the cornerstone of a thriving intellectual community that produces experienced, engaged, successful graduates.
Graudate housing is available on-campus through the Lettie Patte Whitehead Graduate Complex (GradPlex). Apartment, condo, townhome and house rentals are available near campus. International students seeking house-mates will be assisted by the MBA Admissions staff. Housing recommendations are found on the Admitted Student Website and are updated annually.
MBA students are assigned to learning teams and collaboration is highly encouraged. Relationships with mentors in the Executive Partner Network provide international students with a familial experience. The MBA Association offers a variety of clubs, committees, leadership and volunteer opportunities to keep students active and engaged outside of the classroom. The greater College of William & Mary community is highly inclusive of its graduate students, a benefit of being a small university in a quaint college town. Town-and-gown relations in Williamsburg are positive and the College receives very strong local and alumni support.
