The main campus in El Dorado has a traditional student body of 2,500 and a full campus life of social, athletic and other extracurricular activities. A second campus is located in Andover (population 12,000), which is 11 kilometers east of Wichita and serves a non-traditional student body of 5,000.
Dormitories and apartments are available to international students; a $75 deposit is required with application and payment must be made in full and in advance for each semester. ($2,000 due August 1 and $2,000 due January 1).
Butler Community College has two primary campuses available for international students to attend classes. The main campus in El Dorado features a more tranditional class schedule with two or three class meetings per week and a full range of extracurricular and athletic opportunities. Butler has an International Student Association which sponsors various activities for international students.
