The University of La Verne; a four-year, comprehensive, private university, was founded in 1891. This Carnegie 1 Research Institution is located in northeast Los Angeles County in Southern California, just minutes away from Los Angeles, Pasadena and Orange County. It also provides a positive living and learning environment by maintaining well-kept facilities, offering educational/ co-curricular programs, and providing competent staff committed to connecting with all the students served. Students may apply for housing after confirming their attendance
Student life
Students who want to become active and get to know others who are interested in similar types of co-curricular activities can join one of the 80+ active student clubs and organizations on campus. Categories of clubs include: academic, business, cultural, governing, Greek and special interest. These groups offer students a chance to network with faculty, staff, classmates and community members who have similar interests and experiences. Some academic and business organizations are either closely affiliated with academic areas at the University of La Verne and/or have national professional affiliation. Student organizations are an integral part of the student life on campus and reflect the diverse interests and activities of our student community.
