About the School

Camosun College is a well-established public college in Victoria, British Columbia, known for hands-on learning with strong connections to industry. Founded in 1971, it offers more than 160 programs across two campuses where students can study arts and sciences, business, health and human services, trades and technologies, and more. Many students also benefit from university transfer options that help them continue their studies at larger institutions. The college also takes pride in its diverse international community, where they have thousands of international students from over 70 countries.

Camosun’s two main campuses—Lansdowne and Interurban—offer a range of facilities intended to support every student’s education and well-being. Students can access modern libraries, computer labs, student services, health and wellness support, recreation spaces, and career-focused resources. There are also active clubs, athletic teams, and social events to help students connect and grow. 

Victoria is a stunning coastal city known for its safe, scenic environment and mild climate. There are many parks, waterfront trails, cultural spaces, cafes, and shopping so students can easily explore when not in class.

Housing

While Camosun College does not have on-campus residence yet, there are several housing options for international students to consider. You can opt for homestays, where students live with a local Canadian host family and practice language skills while gaining a supportive home environment. Others find off-campus rentals, including shared houses, apartments, or suites near campus. Camosun College’s housing resources and coordinators can help students explore options and connect with safe, comfortable places to live. A new on-campus student residence is also planned for the Lansdowne campus, expected to be constructed in 2026.
