The university pathway program was really important for me especially to develop some skills in this academic field so it's really easy for me to write my essays, my reports and I feel more comfortable talking with my professors and my classmates. The number of partners that ILSC has, it's good because we can have a variety of choice with good institutions.

All you need to do is follow your teacher’s steps. Then you will be fine. Most important is that they help me how to do my job in university or college. I am not only learning like listening, speaking, I can also learn how to do the research essay including doing the references in the right way, APA or other types.

Frequently Asked Questions

You can explore a range of Canadian partner institutions including colleges and universities offering diploma, bachelor’s, and postgraduate programs. Many institutions are connected to ILSC Language Schools’ University Pathway program, while others offer pathways through a Joint Pathway Program model, allowing students to transition from English studies into academic programs. Some select partners also accept credit transfer from graduates of certain Greystone College programs, offering advanced placement in a degree.

The University Pathway program allows students to enter a Canadian college or university without IELTS or TOEFL. Students study English at ILSC Language Schools and, once they reach the required level, can progress directly into their chosen academic program at a partner institution.

A Joint Pathway Program also allows students to enter a Canadian college or university without IELTS or TOEFL by starting with English study at ILSC Language Schools, followed by English study at a partner school, then direct transition into their chosen post-secondary program at the same partner school. The Joint Pathway Program model allows students to apply for just one study permit for all three components of their study journey in Canada, supporting a more seamless transition from language study to higher education.

Yes. Many partner institutions accept students through the ILSC University Pathway program or the Joint Pathway Program, which means you can meet the English requirement by completing the required level at ILSC Language Schools or a combination of ILSC Language Schools and the post-secondary institution instead of taking IELTS or TOEFL.

The length of your English studies depends on your current level. Some students may need only a few weeks, while others may require several months to reach the required pathway level. For conditional admission support, ILSC Language Schools requires a minimum of 4 weeks of study in the University Pathway program.

ILSC Language Schools has different agreements with each partner school, so the level requirement may vary depending on the school or specific higher education program.
